Patience Ozokwor (born 14 September 1958), otherwise known as Mama G, or G for General, is a renowned Nigerian Nollywood actress, a television personality, fashion designer, and a musician.
She won the Best Supporting Actress 2012 & 2013 award at the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards.[3][4][5][6] She is known for playing the role of a villain in some of her movies.[7] Patience Ozokwor was among the top 100 Nigerians Honored by the government to celebrate the amalgamation of the northern and southern protectorates in 2014.[8]
On May 20, 2023, she was named the Merit Award Winner at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards.[9][10]
Early life
Patience Ozokwor was born in the village of Amaobo, Ngwo in present-day Enugu State, Nigeria,[11][12] and attended Abimbola Gibson Memorial School in Lagos.
